I enjoy helping my students succeed and I believe that with a friendly and patient but structured approach I can aid my students to unleash their potential, boost their confidence and enhance their understanding! Each student is different and learns in different ways, whether that may be verbally or visually, I like to ensure that my teaching methods are adjusted and tailored to be beneficial to every student to ensure that they grow!
My lessons consist of first locating any weaknesses or gaps in subject / topic knowledge, then going over the content by talking through it with the use of presentations / whiteboards or diagrams. Finally, together we can look at some examples of exam questions and how to go about answering them. I have the most experience with the exam boards Edexcel and AQA but I am very familiar with all other exam boards and can adapt easily.
Additionally, I will assist my students with revision, for example helping them to create revision content like mind maps or flashcards that can be used within lessons or in their free time.
As a student at the University of Leicester studying a Physics degree, I have years of experience with learning and revising content from my GCSE's, A-levels and now university, and coming up with productive methods of revision to ensure I get good grades. I have an extensive knowledge of Physics and Maths and know straightforward ways of explaining complex content.
