Each student will have a personalised presentation, and lesson plan. This is determined by the first lesson where we establish what a student wants to or needs to achieve in the timeframe. At the beginning of each lesson there is a small retrieval activity that will tell me how well you know the content and what areas need specific work on. After establishing what you do/don’t know we will go onto content, presented with interactive and practical content in mind as not all learners are best suited to writing notes. After content is taught we move on to mastery. Practice questions is key as this will really give each student a leg up for the exams. Completing practice questions is also important as we will learn the terminology of what each question is asking and how to maximise the marks by using the correct structure. I am open to looking at homework to match in class work at school. This will hopefully fill in any gaps you are struggling with to present you from falling behind in class. At the end of each topic there will be a timed assessment to practice and prepare for real exam season. This will be followed up by a feedback lesson were we work on the key points to improve hopefully eradicating any silly mistakes. This lesson structure is to have the best improvement possible but is flexible to meet the needs of each every student possible.
