i have had experience with being a ta in year 8 english aswell as presenting parts of lessons to a full class of 30 year 7s. i have tutored 2 of my younger cousins, one when he was 9 i helped bring his maths grade up and the other when he was 13 to work on his physics and chemistry in gcse triple science first year. ive completed my gcses passing all of them many of them grade 5 and a grade 6 in music and 8 on coursework. i am now studying physics, english literature and psychology in sixth form in hopes of becoming a teacher. my school gave us a course on child safeguarding and teaching due to our schools academic mentoring program where us sixth formers tutor younger students or help in lessons of our chosen subjects. i have been doing this since i started this year in year 12. i have picked up many teaching methods from helping out in english and many exercise tasks to practice the subjects they have learnt and have access to any materials i used in my time in primary and secondary school. i am fresh from gcse education so am farmiliar with the stress and how much students can handle at one time in regards to studying. in summary i enjoy working with young people and their education and plan to create a low stress but high inflow of information tutoring environment for the students i am able to tutor.
