My name is Erika and I have just moved to London from the united states to pursue my masters degree in chemistry at UCL. I tutored throughout my undergraduate degree and would love to continue here in London. I like to teach in a hands on, conversational manner. This way, everyone is involved in both the teaching and learning process. Most subjects, especially science, are learned better when taught with a focus on concepts and understanding, rather than memorization. This a key in my teaching style. I often find that struggling students will try memorizing content, which actually jeopardizes their future with build on concepts.
