Hi,
I’ve been at varied work placements from the military to monitoring faults on robots used during surgery. I am keen to enable a better childhood and future for the next generation through a combination of technology and education.
I studied towards a PGCE in Physics in the North West and so am keen to teach physics and maths online. I have taught secondary school age groups mainly, but have enjoyed time with primary school age children in various classes, including SEN, which I would be delighted to teach online if that was appropriate for you.
I have had a number of hobbies and interests from fitness to playing the piano (for fun), and played most sports at some point in my life. I am very supportive of extra curricular activities, and a key aim of mine during 1-2-1 lessons is to try integrate the lessons into the students life, to bring added value into the teaching, and encourage engagement and interest.
I will be seeking regular review so I can adjust before the next lesson to tailor the experience to the students needs and wishes. It is important to me that the student leaves the lesson confident that it will be beneficial for them to attend the next lesson, because of the value gained.
