Each individual has their own learning process and understands things differently. Through learning about the student I can best find ways for them to understand difficult subjects or further their understanding of topics. I am patient and kind, and believe in positive affirmations to create a safe learning environment. Encouragement is key. There is always a chance to reflect and learn, both in the educational sense as well as in how one is doing generally. Learning should be fun and enjoyable so I like to find ways to relate lessons to the students' interests. There are multiple ways to understand a subject so I am to find the way that works best for each individual whether that be through visual aids, auditory aids, metaphors, repetition, or others.
