I am a very flexible teacher. From providing activities to just getting straight to the point. We will work together to figure out what works for you. After all, there's no point in having a tutor that doesn't listen to you. I am kind, patient and sympathetic so you don't need to worry about having a big scary tutor!

I am a very flexible teacher. From providing activities to just getting straight to the point. We will work together to figure out what works for you. After all, there's no point in having a tutor that doesn't listen to you. I am kind, patient and sympathetic so you don't need to worry about having a big scary tutor!
I am currently studying university level psychology and am hoping to go into educational psychology so I have a fairly deep understanding of how people learn. I of course achieved an A at Higher and National 5 English so I properly understand what is needed to achieve what you need. Furthermore, I am a cub leader at my local scouting group so I am experienced in teaching younger children skills despite my lack of teaching qualifications. On top of that, I just love English! No better person to teach you than someone with a passion for it.
At younger levels like primary school, my lessons are more focused on giving the child a more holistic understanding of the English language and how it works, giving them the foundation to excel throughout life. If you have a specific concern then I can absolutely focus on that though!
As we progress to secondary my tutoring becomes more focus on the subject English. In high school understanding what teachers and exam boards want from you can be exhausting so I will show them how to get those all important marks in a system that all in all isn't the best at explaining what they want.
