I have strong experience in teaching as a teaching assistant and then lecturer at the universities in Turkey, UK and around the world. I assisted and taught many courses in Chemical Engineering such as “Engineering Economics and Design”, “Chemical Reaction Engineering”, “Heat and Mass Transfer”, “Separation Process”; and evaluated the individual and group projects or homework of the undergraduate students; performed many laboratory projects with undergraduate and graduate students.
I am committed to reading books from classics to philosophy and from history to philosophy of science. I have 600+ books collection in my library. That is why reading, applying and sharing is my passion. On the other hand, while many of the world's leading universities are making great strides in research today, the enthusiasm for teaching seems to have waned somewhat, especially at the high school and undergraduate level. In my opinion, sharing the research and teaching enthusiasm with students will improve their love of profession. For this reason, I also share some obtainings from my professional researches with students during the related courses. I want them to take an active role in the course at certain points. After my courses, my expectation from students are that:
1) to be able to take active roles in relevant field at international level.
2) to be able to use their improved knowledge and skills (by that course) for the benefit of society and world.
3) to be able to apply all these within the professional ethics and responsibility principles.
