There are various methodology that can be used to teach a student, it only depend on the teacher to know the one that is best for his or her students but generally, what I do is for first;

a. List the content of the topic starting from the introduction.
b. Highlight the most important section to the student

C.Give class work after each classes to assess the student
d. Give assignment against the next class for assessment.
