My method of teaching includes co-operative learning strategies I.e “think-pair-share”, Discussions in small groups or pairs.
I also make use of Case-based learning which is used widely across many disciplines, and collections of validated cases, and the teacher centered method.
The focus and content of the lesson is on the topic or subject matter. During the lesson students are focused on learning about something. This could be anything that interests them from a serious science subject to their favourite pop star or even a topical news story or film.
Content would be delivered with the help of technology using:
Audio recordings.
Videos.
Images.
Adaptive online tutorials.
Online databases.
Virtual classrooms.
Interactive packages and so on.
My experience as an online teacher is very vast and I've achieved a lot of success but most importantly I've been able to groom and train future and great leader with a creative and positive mindset of achieving greatness, seeing opportunities where others see threats.
Teaching experience is positively associated with student achievement gains throughout a teacher’s career. Gains in teacher effectiveness associated with experience are steepest in teachers’ initial years, but continue to be significant as teachers reach the second, and often third, decades of their careers.
As teachers gain experience, their students not only learn more, as measured by standardized tests, they are also more likely to do better on other measures of success, such as school attendance.
Teachers’ effectiveness increases at a greater rate when they teach in a supportive and collegial working environment, and when they accumulate experience in the same grade level, subject, or district.
