Emmanuel (Akita) was great mentor. He was knowledgeable about the material and would help me whenever I got stuck on a problem. He also was a very kind person who took his time to explain concepts in multiple ways when I was struggling to make sure I understood. However, most importantly for me, he was someone who was easy to talk and open up to. He embodied what a real mentor should be: part teacher, part guide, part motivator.

Separately, he suggested using the Marvel API as an alternative, which opened up new possibilities for my project.
