Emma Warnford-Davis

Hi my name is Emma, I am an enthusiastic and friendly tutor with a passion for biology and excellent communication skills. I am incredibly patient and will explain various techniques to help understand the student with difficult concepts. I have just completed my 2nd year of Medical Sciences at Exeter University.I have had experience teaching friends and family Biology and Psychology (A level and GCSE). I am happy to help tutor students who are getting ready to take their GCSE'S or A levels.

I believe question practice is a great way to apply the knowledge you know and recall information for exams. I would then go over the questions the student got wrong to identify areas we need to focus on more thoroughly. I would concentrate on topics the student finds difficult and use questions to help them retain the information. I find it useful to use a whiteboard as well for annotations of diagrams and to make the information more visual, which can be very helpful for most students.

Every students learning style is different and I will adjust the lesson accordingly to what is best suited for them.
