Hi! I'm a current MSc student in Clinical Psychology which I finish this summer. I have a particular passion for maths, having studied it at both GCSE (grade 7) and A-level, this mixed with my desire to help makes me the perfect option!
My lessons will be delivered online and will focus on certain topics that the students can choose, whether that's a topic they're currently studying in class or a particular area they have struggled with previously. I am also happy to tailor my lessons to specific GCSE exam boards to ensure the student feels prepared to ace the exam!
Each session will focus on a particular topic, starting with a "check-in" during which the student can express concerns about their maths lessons, ask questions on a particular topic, or go through any work that was set by myself in the previous session. This check-in will allow me to tailor further sessions to make sure the student can achieve the best possible results! The session will then focus on the main focus topic assigned to the session, which will include walkthroughs, explanations, and the chance to complete maths problems with me on hand to address any issues.
I am also happy to provide "homework" that allows for independent work, that I will mark in my own time, to allow the student to develop a full understanding of the topic, as well as the confidence that they can independently and successfully complete a range of questions on the topic.
