I use a range of audio-visual materials to support your language development. I use engaging materials which spark your interest in each of the four language development skills. Certain lessons may lend themselves more towards one of the four skills, but each lesson will always have conversation to encourage speaking, listening and your own confidence.

No two lessons are the same. Learning is completed at your own pace and I can further support this with materials outside of our sessions that will help consolidate your learning.

Feedback will be regular and work both ways, if there is something in particular that you do not like then we will tackle it in different ways. Similarly more challenging concepts, for example grammar topics will be incorporated into our lessons and not kept in isolation. This gives you 'real-life' examples which you can use.

As a native English speaker, I have first hand experience of the difficulties English speakers face when learning Spanish. Together, we will break these down to aid your development.

Additionally, I can support Hispanic speakers who wish to learn English as we can converse in Spanish to support your acquisition of the English language.

I incorporate Hispanic and Latin American culture into my lessons to develop cultural awareness and understanding of the language you are learning.

I truly believe that learning a foreign language enriches you as a person and I am really excited to help you on this journey.
