In tutoring such a complex topic like computer science I like to keep my lessons relaxed and informal. This allows for the student ease into the lessons and ask any questions without feeling self-conscious. Online lessons will be done through Zoom or Microsoft Teams, depending on the preference of the student. Video call allows for a much more engaging experience both for me and the student. Screen share will also be used to show solutions and aid explanations. To become proficient in programming practice is vital. Therefore, Weekly programming challenges will be assigned to students to attempt during the week. It is not however expected that the student will complete the problems perfectly. These tasks are supposed to challenge students and to highlight areas of weakness. During the lesson we will work through the homework while introducing new topics. I am also open to ideas so please feel free to make suggestions.
