Through offering additional tuition outside of the classroom, I am ensuring pupils are given the opportunity to take learning at their own pace to ensure each concept is effectively understood.

The lessons I am offering will be interactive and engaging to ensure learning is retained and pupils are engaged in their studies. They will be pupil-centered to ensure lessons are focussed specifically on what each child needs help with.

I currently work as a Learning Support Assistant in a primary school, I have an enhanced knowledge of the curriculum and much experience with supporting children in their studies.

I also have an undergraduate degree in Primary Education meaning I can effectively deploy a range of teaching methods based on what each individual pupil responds best to.

In each lesson, It will begin with a quick recap on prior knowledge taught from the lesson before to ensure pupils are secure in previous concepts before moving on and learning new material. The new material is then taught and practiced in a range of ways such as through activities and practice questions to ensure learning is memorable meaning pupils will retain information easier.

I specialise in Primary Maths and English however I would be willing to teach pupils up to GCSE level maths and English as I have a secure knowledge of the current curriculum.

I also teach English as an Additional Language for pupils with no/little English. I currently do this with children in the school I currently work in so have much experience with this.
