As someone who has taken English as a Second Language (ESL) and IELTS, I am confident in going through all of the materials with you. I believe I have a good understanding of what this position entails and that I may be able to meet those commitments using the talents I've developed over my years as a university student.

I am hands-on, I prefer written materials, but I am capable of adapting to the student. I like to have a more personal dynamic when I teach because I believe that by creating a friendly environment, learning becomes less of a burden and more of a fun experience where we exchange ideas. As someone who tutored during COVID, I have experience with doing online classes but I am also capable of also teaching in person. I have mentored/tutored university students, therefore I am familiar with the format of university assignments and how to get firsts or 2:1s.This meant that I urged them to finish their assignments on time and counselled them on time management techniques. I have also created study aids and lesson plans for students who were struggling with lessons.

I also made sure to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment so that the students I mentored/tutored could come to me with any concerns. As a result of these experiences, I am competent in carrying out the tasks, responsibilities, and expectations of a tutor. Throughout our lessons together, I will assist you in becoming more focused and engaged, and we will simply have fun learning new things about the English language!
