Firstly, hello! My name is Emma and I’m an English Language graduate. My English lessons will vary depending on your existing competency and preferred learning method. They are not prescriptive, as I don’t believe in a ‘one size fits all’ approach; I am very aware that people learn at different paces and through various methods, therefore, I am keen to use my academic qualifications, native proficiency, and resources on-hand to discover what works for you. I see the importance of developing interest in a subject rather than sticking to rigid, antiquated teaching.

Once this has been established, we can work together to build on your knowledge, proficiency, and mastery of the English language! I have experience working within schools both in England and abroad - in France and Germany, supporting students with their learning in whichever ways they require. Together, we will explore and practice everyday English at a level which is suitable for you and assess how to proceed from there. This can be done through a mixture of activities, games, conversation, and discussion. I am approachable, personable, and very open to ideas.
