I have been teaching English at a secondary level since 2006. I have taught in a variety of secondary schools and tutored online. I have worked with pupils in KS3, KS4 and KS5.

I have tutored before in a small class of 8 set up but I am excited to now offer 1 to 1 sessions.

I have also worked with adults who wish to take their GCSE in English as they did not have the chance at school.

I have been a GCSE examiner for several years for AQA and currently for Edexcel. This requires me to attend training courses so I am fully up to date with GCSE requirements.

Currently I am working in a Further Education setting helping students who are at college training in vocational studies. They have for several reasons not achieved a GCSE while at school and I help them to achieve this alongside their college course so they can continue with their career. I specialise in helping students who have become disengaged and struggled in school. I love to show them how the GCSE is not as scary as it first seems and how they can achieve it.

Please message me for details - I would prefer to teach online as it would be easier to arrange sessions around my family life. I am available on Thursday and Friday during the working day or Tuesday evenings.

Depending on the student I would be willing to meet on a face to face capacity but this will for a limited availability due to being a single parent.
