I am a Master’s Educated English graduate looking to offer tutoring in English as a Second Language both to anyone wishing to build upon their existing knowledge of the language or who is looking for a refresher class.

All classes will be provided online in a one to one basis so as to ensure that each student receives my full attention and support. I believe that there is no one correct method of teaching and am therefore happy to tailor my teaching style for each individual student so as to ensure that they are both happy with and successful in my classes. All lesson will be an hour but longer sessions can be arranged as necessary.

During our first session I will ask you to outline your hopes and aims for these lessons which will allow me to personalise the teaching experience. I believe that learning languages can be fun and that many peoples issues with learning stem from dry and uninventive teaching methods. Students should feel free to highlight specific areas which they wish to learn. I believe that progression should be based on the individual's needs and that it is better to spend time integrating knowledge than rushing to an end goal.

I am a patient and empathetic teacher who is always willing to take the extra time to ensure that my students understand the content of each lesson, and I have no issues repeating classes if it is required. Student comfort is my highest priority and I want them to feel able to discuss their progression with me or any issues they may be encountering during the course.
