Emma Farmer

I can teach at my home in Radley Green or online during the week - preferably between 10:30am and 3:30pm. I am a qualified secondary school teacher of Spanish and have recently left a career in Technology to share my passion of the piano with others. I have Grade 8 in both piano and oboe. I can teach for fun or work toward exams up to Grade 5 level and including Grade 5 theory.
I can teach beginners or more advanced students. My teaching style is to create a friendly, welcoming space to encourage you to play and to give you techniques to help you practise at home. I can suggest piano books to help you learn but am happy to look at music of your choice too. I also encourage improvisation and creating your own pieces.
