Emma Barnett

I'm a fun, outgoing person and put my personality into my lessons. They are dynamic and fast paced so you will never be bored! I like to use games, videos and music with my younger learners and current affairs, podcasts, videos and articles with my older more advanced learners.
I have been teaching English for over 15 years in Poland, The Czech Republic, The USA and now I live in the UK where I am teaching a mixture of online classes and at a language school. I have taught in various public and private primary and secondary schools, I also work with students who have learning difficulties. I have been tutoring GCSE students English Language and Literature for the past 2 years online and in person for the AQA exam board. I can prepare students for their Cambridge exams (FCE,CAE,CPE) and IELTS if you wish to study or work in an English speaking country.
I have my teaching diploma from Cambridge and various CPD courses from my schools, including working with people with special needs and autism and new learning and teaching strategies for teaching English.
Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I especially enjoy meeting people from all walks of life, as I believe they can learn things from me but I can also learn things from them.
