For each tutoring session I start by listening to the areas of concern of the student and approaching those topics with a friendly and logical approach. I share my personal notes with the student for them to revise and aim to have to the student actively using the studied topic by the end of the session. For example, if the student was struggling with the conditional tense I would begin with; explaining the use and form of the conditional, do some activities with the notes infront of them that recall the conditional tense and then, initiate a conversation in Spanish which requires the student to respond with the conditional with no notes infront of them.
