Hello there! Thanks for stopping by at looking at my profile - I’ll jump straight into it and let you know why I think I could help you build on your everlasting English writing and speaking skills!

like to keep my classes fun and interactive to keep my students engaged throughout their lessons, I prefer to do this by teaching different methods, such as Communicative language teaching (CLT) and the Direct Method. The direct method allows for me to take control on the speaking and demonstrate to my students, whereas CLT is a student based learning method that allows for them to get involved and practice their speech through real-life contexts.
I believe this is a great teacher - to - student balance as it suits a variety of different students needs. It’s important when teaching to remember that every child is individual - and one method may not work for everybody, so incorporating something everybody can learn with is essential. It’s also important to keep your students engaged, and trust me, we all know how boring it can be when teachers just stand their and talk on! Which is why a balance of both methods will keep things in the classroom interesting and interactive. Lessons should of course be also be packed with lots of helpful information - but it should also be fun! I acknowledge that some students may find it difficult to learn electronically, which is why I always make the effort to allow my students to have the choice on how they want to end their lessons through my ‘choice board’. This can include a range of educational games, activities and creative work that can really allow my students to end their lesson not feeling too overwhelmed.

Personally, I don’t have any experience of teaching lessons to students on line, however, I have worked with a young boy who had special educational needs. This particular type of work has allowed me to gain interpersonal skills that I think is key to teaching young children and adults. Skills such as positive communication, empathy, confidence, enthusiasm and active listening. I have also studied Business and Travel & Tourism at college, as well as Law and Music Business and Media at University. Through my years studying, I have also gained many qualities that are essential for teaching such as leadership, adaptability, creativity, imaginative thinking, effective speaking and presentation skills. All of these skills, are what I believe, to be effective in order to teach students English and to also develop a positive teacher - to - student relationship.

I hope to teach yourself, or your children expert knowledge that will help you build on your current skills, or skills that need some special attention that will be of great use to you later on in life. See you in the classroom!
