For the first session, I will get the idea of how you will want to learn and what you want to get out of our tutor sessions, then each session depending on what you want to work on I will surround that lesson on that topic or idea. I try to customize each lesson and teaching method depending on each student, as I feel like you can get the most of out each session.
I have been studying and working on my own photography projects for around 4 years, and have learned that this is still more everyone can learn each day.
My lessons will mostly consist online unless there is a strong necessity for it to be in person, but this will be discussed with the student if this is needed.
I will mostly be focusing on the basic skills for beginners and possibly more advanced skills, I will also be looking at editing ideas and how to do certain editing skills. If the student is in their GCSE or A-Level year I will also be helping discuss ideas and how to write and describe photos or work from other artists.
Communication with the student is a key thing for me as I feel like this allows us both to understand what they are planning on achieving and it will allow me to make sure that they are getting what they want from each session.
After each session, I will ask each student to have some idea of what they want to look into or learn next session, as this will then allow me to get any resources I need ready for the next session so that they are able to get everything from their time.
