I begin our first session understanding the knowledge you already have and outlining what needs to be built upon, dependant on the level of education you are currently studying at.
I will also find out when your next grades assignments/exams in this subject are, in order to utilise our time best.
Next we will focus on setting groundworks for the subject area, psychological perspectives.
Next I will cover the topic of “memory” from a psychological perspective, which will then act as an advantage to utilise this information in practice for your studies!

Sessions will be broken up into short bursts in order to keep you engaged, with practical and interactive tasks.
“Homework” will be set in order to reinforce knowledge acquired from the sessions, however much of this will be in the form of practical activities or research.

I am willing to tutor groups of up to 4 students at a time included in the hourly rate (if you want to chip together with a few friends, I’m happy to work with this!)
Over exam periods, students will be granted the opportunity to contact me 24/7 (up to 3week period).

I will work around your personal timetable beyond our sessions to assign appropriate revision between sessions, in order to optimise our time together and ultimately save you money!

I am happy to work via Zoom, Teams, or in person (Limited to public libraries or homes within 3mile radius of Bolton town centre)

I am a psychology graduate, beginning a masters in positive psychology in September (2023). I have approximately 5 yea RSS experience in learning psychology specifically and 2 years of health and social care studies prior to this. I also volunteer at Mhist in Bolton, which provides me with face-to-face interactions with those we hope to support as psychologists.

I am particularly interested in mental health and well-being, memory, social influence, attachment and research methods.
