Although I use skills taught by my TEFL qualification, I like to teach based on what my student responds most to, and tailor lessons and activities around what engages them. We will establish strengths and weaknesses and identify what goals you want to achieve with your english speaking. From there we can take it lesson by lesson or develop a longer term, thorough approach over multiple lessons. Subject matter is entirely up to the student and I will teach accordingly. I am apt at teaching grammar and more complex english for more fluent students, but offer basic english teaching also. What to expect: we will usually discuss what it is you are looking for out of the lesson. Introduce the subject matter, get an understand of prior knowledge through an engaging activity, explore the language and teach new vocab/grammar, then build my students confidence with using these skills independently.
