My experience :
I have recently completed a BA Hons History Degree from York St John University and will be starting a Master's Degree in Museum and Heritage Development at Nottingham Trent University in September 2024. I have completed History A-Level and historical based A-Levels such as Classical Civilisations and Sociology.

I have some experience working with KS3, GCSE and A-Level students. Helping qualified teachers plan lessons. Independently marking and giving feedback to students. I started training for a History PGCE (Sep - Nov 2023) However, I left the course due to personal reasons. I loved teaching small groups of students and sharing my passion for history and helping students find their passions.

I have helped give general university advice. From helping research courses, universities, applications and finance.

I have worked at a university provider as an admissions officer and interviewer, so I am able to help with applications and the potential interview process.

I have gone through lots of training, such as prevent, safeguarding, FGM and DBS checked.

Content:
I have a wide range of historical knowledge from the Roman Empire to The Cold War and I am always happy to learn new topics. Specialised content - The Tudors, World War One and Two, The Industrial Revolution and

Lessons:
The dynamic of the lessons will be cheerful, passionate, encouraging, at the pace the student needs, more than happy to cover things as many times as the student may need, exam techniques and preparations.
I will tailor every lesson to the students needs and requirements with an initial talk about what they want from tutoring and what is more important for them, this could be, content, revision techniques, exam techniques or exam preparations.
