I have a first class honours degree from The University of Salford in Music. I also have a teaching degree and have 2 years experience teaching a variety of abilities and ages. I have been trained as a singer, but I can also teach multiple instruments such as ukulele, keyboard, guitar, flute and music theory.
In college, I gained a music student of the year for gaining the highest mark in music across the board of people taking the BTEC course in Lancashire! I am very knowledgable in a lot of aspects in the music industry, so not only can I teach instrumentation, I can also help with assignments, exam revision, and performance etiquette for any upcoming performances a student may have.
My music teaching experience is mainly based in primary school ages (4-11) but I do have experience teaching children up to 16 years old and taking pupils through their GCSE’s and coursework.
For my online lessons, I would prepare pupils for exams (board of their choice - classical/pop/rock) whilst preparing them for a job in the industry in the real world by passing on my knowledge and experience. By teaching various instruments, I can put pupils in contact with each other, so they can form bands.
I have also written my own songs, so can help students do this with their instruments and anyone I may put them in contact with if they form a band.
I am very much looking forward to working with you/any potential learners.
