Attained Grade 9 in English language IGCSE and English literature IGCSE.
Attained an A in A-level English literature, biology and A* in A-level geography.
Currently studying at a UK Russel group university.

I believe English lessons are best kept engaging and relevant to a student's daily life, goals and interests. I have grown up in 3 different countries and have helped friends from various countries in improving their English, from conversations to academics such as IELTS and GCSEs.

I teach online and cater my teaching to a student's age and goals. For example, I believe a beginner should not focus heavily on grammar and instead build up their vocabulary with simple grammar rules, whereas an older student who is looking to improve their academic english in any subject should focus on specialised vocabularies and fine-tune their grammar, punctuation and spelling.

Learning and improving in another language should also be fun and interesting, which I always want students to feel. I believe that that is a major way people remember words that may otherwise be tricky or advanced!
