I am an experienced Secondary Spanish teacher, proficient in teaching Spanish at beginner’s level through to degree level.

I have a 2:1 degree in (BA Hons) Spanish and Latin American Studies. Alongside this, I have a PGCE in Secondary Education, alongside Qualified Teacher Status, specialising in Modern Foreign Languages. I am an experienced teacher working with ages 11-18, but I have also worked with primary school ages in the past.

Not only do I teach Spanish, but I can also teach English to Spanish natives. I speak Spanish with good fluency and I am an English native speaker. I have lived and worked in Spain and can bring my language skills and cultural experiences gained from this to my teaching.

My teaching style is flexible. I will provide tuition based on my students needs and learning styles. I have a number of different resources which can be used during lessons, alongside websites/materials which I can advise students to use in their own time whilst studying. Any material/resource used will be tailored specifically to the student in order for them to make the best progress and get the most from the lesson.

I am happy to teach to all ages, not just students of school age.

I have had 4 years experience working with the AQA Spanish GCSE and A Level specifications and have completed a number of CPD courses regarding assessment and marking of exams.
