I enjoy creating engaging PowerPoints and quizzes for my students. I can cater examples within the lessons to your specific hobbies and interests to allow for better understanding in subjects that are tricky to comprehend. My abilities range from students who are hoping to pass, all the way up to students striving for the top grades. I have experience tutoring all intellectual abilities, my excitement surrounding English can encourage even the least interested students. I have tutored at GCSE level, helping a struggling student achieve a grade 3 when she was originally at a grade 1. I’ve tutored at A-Level, recounting the syllabus and using quizzes to reinforce the knowledge, ensuring any tricky topics are made easier and simpler. I utilise spaced repetition and quizzes to ensure optimal memorisation of all content. We can use zoom for lessons or we can adapt to whichever platform you’re most comfortable with. I range from simplifying plots of texts, helping those who struggle with poetry to grasp its basics and writing perfect, exam ready essays.
