Emily Mignot

Hello, my name is Emily and I am from the UK. I have alway had a huge passion for English Literature and English Language. As well as this, I love reading, painting and travelling! I have always had a calm, patient and kind approach to everyone around me and therefore have always enjoyed teaching. I have had an exciting and busy 2 years working with children, teaching multiple subjects such as, English, numeracy, art, science, history ect. And now I would love to expand the age range I work with.

Since studying English at A Level, I have gone on to complete an Early Years Educator course and have taught children of all ages in nursery settings. I am now TEFL certified and am looking to expand the age range I teach. From my experience with children, I have developed crucial qualities such as patience, empathy, creativity and adaptability. I also have lots of experience in classroom management from working with large groups of students, lesson planning, and assisting others with reading, writing and speaking. I have experience in various methodologies to best support different needs.
I would love to help you learn the subject you are interested in, by identifying your goals and desires and style of learning, in order to plan lessons that will challenge and target your goals and thus help you to develop your confidence in the subject.
