My name is Emily and I want to teach as I loved my tutor as a kid and I wish to pass on that enthusiasm for learning. I hope to become a teacher one day and believe this experience will benefit that journey, as well as your own. I am currently at Durham University so only able to do online lessons unless you wish for face-to-face during term times.
At GCSE, I achieved an A* in both Maths and Further Maths and am yet to get my A-level result (predicted an A).
I have tutored for three years, tutoring all ages between 5 and 16, specialising in GCSE knowledge.
I have won an engineering and robotics award at the Japan Super Science Fair, an exclusive event for the brightest minds across the world.
What to expect:
• The lessons will go at your pace with the hope to cover a topic a session (will vary with the size of topics)
• I will set minimal homework that will actually maximise your learning so you don’t overwork yourself and continue to enjoy learning
• Lessons will last around 1/1.5 hours, depending what you want
• my lessons are aimed at ages 5-16 (primary until GCSE)
