My lessons are always structured and punctual to use time as efficiently as possible. I begin my lessons by taking a look at the most recent progress made by the student, the tasks completed and the comments received from school/college tutors. The aim of my private lessons is to boost the confidence of each student, so that when it comes to tests or exams, they will be prepared and feel more relaxed to work under pressure or under a time structure. With English lessons, I incorporate a lot of physical literature ranging from classics to modern texts, with the idea to show how writing styles differ and how they can be approached in unique ways. The key to understanding literature lies within one' s personal interpretation, and truth be told, the world is constantly seeking for new brilliant ideas to emerge in the literary world. As a tutor I am here to provide the patience and the support necessary to each student in order for them to reach an outstanding level of potential, which will also enhance many of the necessary skills that will be required of them in the working world. I like to use both verbal and written skills during my lessons, as they are both equally valuable and necessary for exam preparations. Having English as my second language has allowed me to connect to the language in ways that are at times overlooked within our fast-paced structures and schedules in education. Therefore, as a tutor I am here to teach how language is a practice that can be learnt, improved and influenced.
