I adopt learner-centered teaching format that is activity-based. I use the learner's prerequisite knowledge in each lesson to create stable learning environment for new lessons.
Not only do I adopt a learner-centered teaching method, I also connect concepts to everyday life, such as using word problems to explain concepts.
Repeating and reviewing previous formulas, lessons and information which helps the students to comprehend concepts faster.
I give frequent feedback and directions and also teach concepts using mathematics vocabulary.
Incorporating strategies into game for easy understanding of concepts
I have six years experience teaching elementary school children. It has been a fun filled journey.
