I would use private online lessons that are tailored to the students need. This may include me explaining knowledge to better their understanding or working through some questions together so that they are exposed to as many different scenarios as possible.

I would ask the student what they wanted help on so that they get the most out of the sessions.

After each lesson I will give the student a few questions from the topic we have looked at in the session. I think that these are important because it allows you as a student to practice what you have learnt and consolidate that knowledge. I would advise you to complete these about three days after our session. However, I will not check whether these have been completed as I understand that students have lots of other homework from school and other extra curricular activities and can find it hard to find the time and I wish not to make their lives more stressful. Of course though if the student has any enquires about the questions and wishes to go through them in the next session that is more than fine.

I have been tutored in the past so I believe that this helps me to have an understanding of what is helpful and what is not so helpful. With this knowledge it gives me an insight on how best I can help the student.

I my self have studied maths at A-level and will continue to use maths throughout my economics degree. With all of this in mind I strongly believe that I would be a good tutor for you and help you to improve your math skills.
