How I teach

As a passionate and approachable fourth-year medical student at UCL, I am committed to helping aspiring medical students gain the skills and confidence they need to excel in their interviews and personal statements. My teaching approach creates a supportive and engaging learning environment, allowing students to flourish and develop their full potential.

A key component of my method is conducting mock interviews that closely replicate the real medical school interview experience. These sessions enable students to practise their responses, become familiar with common questions, and build their confidence. I provide detailed, constructive feedback, identifying both strengths and areas for improvement to help students refine their performance.

In addition to interview preparation, I offer personalised tuition for crafting compelling personal statements. With a deep understanding of what admissions committees are looking for, I guide students in effectively conveying their passion for medicine and highlighting their unique qualities. As a current medical student, I bring firsthand insights into the process, ensuring that your personal statement stands out from the competition.

To make my services accessible, I offer personal statement tuition at a reasonable cost of £30, which includes either a comprehensive review of your completed statement or an hour-long mock interview session.

Throughout my teaching, I emphasise the importance of an earnest passion for medicine. By sharing my own experiences and insights, I aim to empower students to succeed in their journey towards becoming physicians, helping them navigate the competitive medical school application process with genuine confidence and clarity.
