Firstly, lessons will be aimed at areas where students find most difficult. I will try my absolute best to deliver lessons in a fun and exciting way which would allow the children hold on to the information for long periods of time. I have good experience because I trained a 10 year old for the 11+ in September and she did beautifully well. Also, it’s okay if the child struggles a bit , all that needs to be done is find a starting point that we are both comfortable with and then we can carry on from there. If the student ever feels like the lessons aren’t going as they wish, they can always communicate with me and I’ll be more than happy to listen to their complaints and adjust certain areas to make them more comfortable with the teaching style. Furthermore, I will set tasks bi-weekly , just to check if the child is having good progress in the subject. Finally, I will make sure I hold good conversations with the child so that they are comfortable with me as a tutor.
