Growing up, I have always helped and tutored my younger sisters in Maths, and even helped tutor some of their friends who struggled when it came to the time of exams. Within the lockdown period and homeschooling became the norm, it became in my job to teach my siblings the set work from their teachers and guide them with their learning. In my lessons I will begin with a recap where you can express what you want to a learn, a discussion based around your thoughts and feelings on recent topics, that you may have struggled with, so I can grasp a sense of where to go with the lesson. The lesson can consist of practise exams questions which we can work through together or even just a general recap or lesson of methods used. This lesson can help me push you to allow yourself to achieve the best grade you can, and improve the confidence you have when it comes to exam times. I have Hada personal experience when I was tutored in another subject and I know how helpful it can be when the tutor really understands how the student is feeling and the lessons can be based around their needs, rather than a more general basis. Everyone needs a bit of help and I can help pinpoint things that we can address to clear up which will have a great impact on the rest of your learning and will help provide a clearer understanding of how to understand different maths problems.
