I believe that everyone student is different, requiring a complete unique and tailored lesson plan for the individual taught. I will include power points, fun quizzes, engaging activities and will actively seek out constructive criticism to continue to help the student thrive. The lessons will be divided into different blocks, beginning with an introduction where basic testing is done and we can converse with each other so I can find the right path for the student. Later I will create several learning blocks to teach specific things, having recaps and giving out homework, making sure the lesson is fun and engaging. If the student is a child, I would love to also speak to the guardian to understand what they would like to receive from these classes, as well as their understanding of the child's needs and I will explain to them how the program will progress. I have been in a teaching position before, being an after school club teacher for GCSE Drama as well as being on the Student Pedagogy Team which helped me understand the importance of certain lesson plans and what truly works for the students. The student will always be treated with respect, as an equal, and is always welcome to bring in their own work that they would want to work on if they had something from their school or if they found something in their every day speaking life that they realised they struggle with. I am very excited to start embarking on this journey!
