I have previously worked with students in school with different abilities and ages. In which I would create workshops to explore the curriculum the students were learning, and the lessons would be fun and engaging so it was memorable for them. I feel that this is one of the best ways for students to learn. The more exciting and interesting a session can be, the more memorable this is. This is also something I learnt in my degree as to remembering different aspects of the modules, and the details that stood out to me more were the ones that were taught differently. Another component that is a big part of my tutoring is making sure that our sessions are structured around how the student learns, I think this is key for how a student learns. Everyone is different, everyone has different needs and ways of processing and learning. It is a priority to me that I get to know the student and how they learn, whilst adding my own twist to the session to make it engaging and fun for them. As learning doesn't need to be a chore or anticipated, it can be however you choose for it to be.
