From my experience mentoring and tutoring younger students both in school and online, I've learned that it is really important to tailor my sessions to each student. Generally, I tutor by using a PowerPoint clearly displaying key content (which I share with the student after the session to aid in revision and understanding), going through examples before moving on to exam questions. I try to get students involved with the lesson at various points to help to truly understand and engage with the content - but I won't force you to answer questions if you aren't comfortable!

Whether you need to just go over exam-style questions, or have me teach you content that you missed or didn't understand, I can adapt my lessons to this. Need me to provide visual representations, examples of problems, model answers, worksheets or point out online resources? I can certainly do all of this and more - just drop me a message.

I would deliver these sessions via Zoom at times that are suited towards you - this could be once or twice a week depending on your schedule. I am also open to having more sessions closer to exams to really get the content nailed down. I also generally offer sessions that are 1 hour long - but again, if you would prefer 45 mins / 1.5hrs etc this can also be arranged to suit you.
