Hi!

The way I like to teach is by finding out what things you like and incorporating them into my lessons. It is vital for me to know how you learn in order for me to help you achieve your goals.

As a philosophy and ethics/ religious education teacher, a lot of what I teach is literature based which can be very hard to process. My aim is to help you learn techniques to remember those important quotes and key scholars to use in your arguments. I do this by using games and quizzes along with the essential essay writing skills.

Moreover, I will teach you how to argue! And how to argue effectively. Which I’m sure your parents will be happy to hear.

Philosophy is a very confusing subject and philosophers write in a way no other academic does. It is a skill to be able to read literature and interpret the arguments from it; to then use in your essays.

I am 23 years old, I have taught philosophy and ethics A level and GCSE to a range of ability students. In addition, I work at a school for SEN students so understand a lot of how children with additional needs may learn.

Thank you for taking the time to read this far, I wish you every success for the future!
