Elle Appleby

I’m a highly respected and experienced KS2 teacher, focusing on English and Maths. I am a very accomplished year six teacher with an excellent history of incredible SATs results. I love basing my English teaching around high-quality texts, incorporating high-level literary skills within these texts. I am very experienced at teaching maths using manipulatives and a range of fun and engaging strategies. I was even the Maths leader for my whole school! I’m a dynamic teacher and have lots of experience with tailoring all aspects of every lesson to meet every individual’s needs. I have lots of experience working with children of all abilities. I’m really friendly and great at developing respectful relationships. Although I pride myself on being very knowledgeable, you’re never too old to learn something knew. I can’t wait to help you gain more confidence and become the best learner you can be.
