I like to check with my students which method of learning they find most effective before I do anything as I know how hard it can be working with a method that isn’t right for you and how much harder it can be! I’ve found with students to always keep an element of fun and joy in my lessons (whilst still challenging them to the best of their ability) so it feels less like a chore to them and rather something they want to engage in and enjoy learning. I am available to tutor online and face to face (depending on the location) as I know sometimes one works better than the other for students! Growing up studying English and Writing I had a huge interest for them however at times felt behind others in class or felt ‘slower’ than others, I feel now this helps me massively when it comes to teaching/tutoring others as there is never force to constantly be getting things right. After all, they are here to learn! and I don’t think education and learning ever have a negative impact on students. Hence why I like to keep our lessons fun whilst also challenging them so that educational challenge doesn’t feel as intimidating or scary!
