Hi! I'm Ella, a recent Oxford University History graduate. As someone with years of experience tutoring, I am sure I'll be able to help with your History work. I can give presentations on history content, feedback on essays and general guidance on how to write excellent history essays. I want to make tutoring a fun and enjoyable experience as well as one that is informative and will help you get the grades you want. I've studied a range of different topics and syllabuses and have also learned new ones in order to tutor students so whatever you are studying, I am sure I'll be able to help. I have significant childcare experience as well as two younger siblings, so am well prepared to tutor students of all ages.

A typical lesson will start with going over any questions that the tutee has and then the bulk of the lesson will be spent either going over new content in the form of a presentation or going through an essay that has been submitted or is going to be submitted. I prioritise the student taking an active role in the lesson as I think this makes the experience much more productive; I'm here to answer any questions and help the student feel as prepared and confident as possible.
