My lessons are based on a language philosophy that I've learned through studying foreign languages: mistakes are your friend! We all make mistakes, more often than not they become a good story to laugh about later. I offer a safe space, free from judgement to make mistakes and to learn from them so that conversations in daily life can go without a hitch!

We all make mistakes, more often than not they become a good story to laugh about later. I aim for my students to have fun but also be productive in their time with me.
Having learned French from age 6 and only starting Italian at age 19, I can appreciate those first steps of language learning from both a child's perspective as well as an adult's perspective.
I have a year's experience teaching English in French schools where I noticed how detached students were from lessons, rather from the classroom style learning we're all used to! I am not a teacher, I am a tutor. Our time together will be based on what you want to learn, not what I want to teach. I will tailor my materials to my students' needs so that you get the most out of your tutorials.
In our first session together, I will:
- learn more about you as a person, what are your interests? Why do you want to learn English?
- find out what your current level of English is with a quiz
- make a list of areas to work on, do you want conversation/pronunciation classes? Is grammar your worst enemy?
We will work from this together!
