Teaching online can be a little difficult to build rapport, but it is one of my key qualities. Being able to guide students through new language concepts, whilst having their trust is really important to me. Like stated in my previous description, I am a final year student studying Korean, TESOL and linguistics, so I have spent countless hours studying the concepts of effective English teaching to L2 learners and am more than capable of applying these to real life teaching.
I spent a year studying in South Korea, where I joined language exchange programs and taught English to L2 language learners. I gained experience from this that has given me the ability to understand what is effective and what is not.
I am a kind, caring individual, who wants nothing more than to make sure my tutees have the best experience possible in their English language learning journey. I want them to leave each class feeling that they got the most out of the lesson, and feeling confident that they are prepared for the next one. I will have good rapport with both the tutee and their home network so that both the student and their parents are aware of their progress and the outcomes of the sessions. I will keep safeguarding at an all time high to make sure that students are safe whilst in my classes, and any issues are resolved successfully.
I look forward to getting to know each individual and getting them started on their journey with the English language.
