My teaching approach is engaging and interactive, and I strive to create a learning environment where students can feel comfortable expressing thoughts and opinions, as well as making mistakes, which is a vital part of the learning process. Lessons will be personalised to the students needs and uses for the language and will include oral exercises, discussions and written assignments. Although I have no prior teaching experience, I am a language student at university, therefore I understand what content is useful in language learning. There will be a focus on conversational and practical language that can be applied to real life. Grammar and vocabulary will be taught through real-life applications, which again will be tailored to the student's needs. I hope to foster curiosity, motivation and interest in language learning, as well as confidence in the student's abilities.
